(The extra pictures are from Caden's 7 month photos.... when he used to wear hats)
Caden used to wear his little winter toboggan all the time, no problem. But around 7 months of age, he reached up one day and realized he could pull it off. Since then, hats have been impossible!

While Nonnie was visiting, we took a little road trip and on the way home she sat in the back seat and played Peekaboo with Caden using a large blanket. Caden quickly caught on to the concept of the game and started holding the blanket up to cover his head/eyes/face and then pull is down again very quickly! This became the beginning of Caden's love of Peekaboo. The video from a few days ago of him walking around with the towel on his head really captures just how much Caden not only tolerates, but now ENJOYS stuff being on his head... all thanks to Peekaboo!

Today John dressed Caden for me while I was running around loading the diaper bag for a morning errand. John saw the baseball cap we've had for months, but have never been able to keep on Caden's head and decided to put it on him. Caden reached up to tear it off, and then stopped..... thought about it for a second.... and then broke out into one of those "I'm so proud of myself" kind of smiles that just melts your heart!!!
Caden kept smiling... and smiling, and began walking in circles in excitement. He loved having that hat on.... well, for a few minutes at least, which is really a pretty good run for a hat in a toddlers world!
Below are some snapshot pictures. In my excitement to capture the moment on film, I didn't realize I was also taking pictures of one more 'blog worthy' thing: Dad put Caden's clothes on backwards.... Gotta love it!
