Caden is at that amazing age where he will do something new every single day! Yesterday (Wednesday... moving day), my friend Kat watched Caden for us while we dealt with the move. When I picked him up and brought him home to our new place I put him down to let him walk around and explore. After about 10 minutes of watching him "go," I realized that he didn't pull himself up one single time, instead, he stood in the middle of the room. He's been doing this for a few weeks, but not consistently. Actually, I was convinced that he could only do it if he wasn't thinking about it (like when he sees a toy he's excited to get to). So, yesterday marked that milestone as officially met. He's standing up!
Of course every baby has their own cute little way of doing things so I had to document Caden's! He sticks his bottom straight up in the air first, and then up comes the rest of him. I snapped a few pictures...
Today's milestone is that he decided to start signing "eat." Of course, he does it with the "two-finger-touch" that is becoming his signature mark! I took these pictures and video while he was half-way asleep still during breakfast (hence the zoned-out stare).
That is so awesome! We have been teaching Samuel sign language for a long time and he now has about 10he uses regularly, we are still working on a lot of them! I think Sign Language is a great tool for youngsters:) Good job Amanda!
