Week in Review

I have not kept up with my blog this week! Sorry for getting behind! The last week has been very busy for us all! Here are some significant (or just plain old cute) happenings from the last few days:

On Saturday we decided to try and stay out of the house and kill some time! The plan initially was to go to Seoul for the day, but I could see that my poor husband was not that in to it so we opted to find some things to get into in our own neck of the woods... Above you can see pics of Caden in his cute little hat at the BX/Post Office picking up a package for Caden's 1st Birthday from Grandmama!!

Caden saw his first parade! We ate our Baskin Robbins ice cream cones as the parade marched by! Caden was given his first little American flag, but John was afraid he'd poke his eye out with it so we just used it to decorate his stroller!

Later we went strolling around downtown Songtan again. I finally made it over to the frame shop and ordered some custom frames I get to pick up on Friday! Then we wandered over to our realtor to pay rent and he invited us to his son's First Birthday!!! We are SO thrilled to get to go to a Korean First Birthday Party! That will definitely be a future blog, don't worry!
Back to our adventures... we ended the day at Emart! We had to buy a light bulb and John couldn't resist the draw of a little remote controlled helicopter! Afterward we gave Caden his afternoon bottle in the car... and he tried to drive it after he finished eating!

And after a long day of running errands, we made Caden come home and do his chores....

Amanda -
I think I may have told you already that I found your blog awhile ago through a photography contact...the pictures of your darling son draw me in as I have two boys, ages 9 & 11. I remember well the sweet baseball caps and tiny khakis that my boys wore in pictures. Amazing how they grow so fast. Boys rock!

Okay, so I've been really bad about leaving comments. Sorry. I just wanted to let you know that the pic of Caden trying to vaccume for you is adorable! What a big helper he is going to be.

I started laughing cause I was wondering why you would still be up this late. It's me that should be sleeping. I enjoy not having to answer to "Momma" but I didnt know it was this late. I better get my tushie to bed because Madison is like a bird when she wakes up. Oatmeal, every morning.... Have a great day, goodnight... Susie
