Walker Adventure

Caden is getting so good at moving around in his walker. He is loving the freedom it gives him and it is fun to watch him roam and explore. However, this is the beginning of the end for me! I say it once in the video below, "Why do I want him to learn to crawl?" I must be crazy!

So, on his latest 'exploration' I found Caden "toddling" around the house with Charli's dog toy. He had this giant chicken in his hand and was walking around so proudly beating the chicken on his walker tray. When I went to get the chicken from him, we had a brief tug-o-war. I didn't realize that boy was so strong! You will see in the video we have another tug-o-war over the garbage can.

The next time I glance over at him, he is standing in front of the oven with both hands on the handle trying to pull himself up (I guess he doesn't realize he's already standing). I managed to grab a picture before he let go all the way.

Then, the funniest of all, he goes over to the trash can and pulls it over to peer inside. I allowed this only because I had JUST changed the trash bag and knew the only thing in there was Charli's "Good Girl Breakfast" (a paper plate we mix wet and dry food on in the mornings) and a few scraps of paper.
