Randomness

So, I was tagged by my blogger friend Kristi to share 7 random facts about myself. The rules of the game are that I am supposed to tag other people to keep this thing going, but the only other person that has a blog that I think MIGHT do this is Kelly... so when you read this Kelly.... TAG! :)

Okay, my 7 Random Facts:

1) I can say the alphabet backwards. I honestly think I can say it faster backwards than forwards because when I say it forwards I feel the need to "pause" at certain places because the song is so ingrained in my head! I learned how to do this on my 11th birthday. I woke up early and was excited and couldn't go back to sleep... tried counting sheep and it didn't work so I somehow ended up trying to say the alphabet backwards and discovered it had a "cool" factor to it. So anyway, zyxwvutsrqponmlkjihgfedcba :)

2) I love to bargain shop and I hate buying something unless I know I'm getting the best deal on it. Being pregnant (and now living in Korea) opened up a whole new world to me: Internet Shopping! You can compare prices and make sure you are getting the best deal without every leaving your couch! It's GREAT!

3) When I eat ice cream, pudding, or other creamy texture desserts I like to flip my spoon upside down once I put it in my mouth so that I can make sure to lick every last drop of yummy goodness off the spoon. My dad loves to tease me about this! It is the way I savor eating something really, really good! I also do it without thinking so don't take me to a 5 star restaurant because I may embarrass you with my poor table manners!

4) I can play the guitar, although I must confess I can't play it very well anymore. NOT because I don't know how to play, but because my fingers are soft (from lack of playing) and anyone who has ever played a guitar knows that this is a very important part of playing! You have to build up calluses on your finger tips and the first few weeks of playing are quite painful.

5) I can tell a real purse from a fake one with one glance. This is sadly REALLY unfortunate because I live in the Land of Knock-Off Purses. I wish I had never learned how to distinguish a real one from a fake one because it ruins the whole "purse" thing for me over here. I don't want to ruin it for anyone else so I'm not sharing my "information" with you. :)

6) I hate to do laundry more than anything (sorry John) and I don't iron. I don't own any button up dress shirts because I don't iron. John used to do his own ironing, but lately he has adopted my way of life: throwing it back in the dryer to dewrinkle it or putting it back through the wash if that doesn't work.

7) I love People Magazine. It is my guilty pleasure!

Well, that's it! They got less, and less interesting as I went down the list.... sorry! I had a really hard time coming up with random facts about myself... but somehow I came up with a ton for John (which by the way... Happy Birthday to you!)
