First Babysitter

The Friday before John left to go back to Korea we decided to go on a date and leave Caden with Grandma and Grandaddy (my parents) for the evening. It was a much needed break for the two of us because our lives had been so consumed with Caden that we hadn't had much time for each other. We went to a place where we could have dinner out on a patio. John decided to show me how to play darts, which is a new "hobby" of his in Korea. We played two games and of course he won them both!
Caden enjoyed his time with this grandparents. Grandma wasn't home for the first few hours so Grandaddy was flying solo for this mission! He gave Caden his bottle and took good care of him. John and I only called twice (that I can remember) to check on them. Actually, we were so impressed with their babysitting skills, we asked them to do it again the next night and we went to dinner at an old favorite of ours: Red Robin- we had lunch there the day before Caden was born and it was there that we officially decided on David as a middle name).
