This morning I met the builder at our lot to discuss how it is going to be leveled. We are at the peak of a hill and we had to discuss getting the lot as flat as possible while still allowing rain water to drain in one direction or the other. I stuck around long enough to see them break ground and I can't wait to go back this afternoon and see it again (and everyday for the next few months).

How exciting! We built in the summer months and visited every day. It was HOT and some days were miserable but we still went EVERY day. :-)

Congrats Nichols Family! What super exciting news. We've been internet-less the past few weeks and I feel so out of the loop....sorry for not commenting and congratulating earlier. :) We're at Scott AFB in IL now...arrived two weeks ago. I'll send out an address update once we close on our house. Again, congrats! Give our regards to John and Caden. *hugs*
