Christmas 2008

We had a simple, but nice Christmas this year in Korea, with the anticipation of doing it again on Jan 24th after we return to Huntsville! :) John and I didn't get each other anything, not one single thing. We got Caden about 5 or 6 little gifts, just what we could find at the BX and we wrapped some of his "plane toys" that we've purchased or that others have purchased for us! We ate a big breakfast at home, skipped lunch and ate a huge dinner with some friends.

Caden is starting to understand the concept of presents I think. By the end he was tearing the paper off pretty well. He had a lot of fun with all his toys. We let him play for about 10 min between each gift. And every time he threw a fit when we took his toy away to open another! But, that's expected I suppose at his age. He didn't understand that something new was coming!

Caden's favorite toy was his dog that 'barks,' although the bark sounds more like a bird chirping... He immediately took it and tried to feed it his toast he was still munching on from breakfast. It was so funny! He got a lot of cars, too. He loves cars. He will push them around making noises all day it seems.

Dinner with our friends was great! Most of the kids are older and Caden tries to copy everything they do. It's too funny! He pushed a play baby stroller and accessories around all night!

Here are some pictures and videos of our Christmas.

Opening presents! Waiting so patiently for Dad to help him (with his favorite doggie by his side)

Opening gifts with Mommy.

I want a bow like Daddy.

Caden wouldn't even let go of the stroller for pictures.

Loving the baby stroller. He pushed around his doggie for a while, too!
